Hi, I’m Adrienne.

Hacking is a mystery to most people. Besides setting up shop in a cafe and making lines of code flash on my screen as I type furiously to scare the heck out of anyone around me with a computer, my biggest passion is writing about this mysterious topic.

Right and wrong is something I’ve always been intrigued by. An angel on one shoulder and the devil on another. When my older brother first introduced me to hacking, I could see which shoulder he was listening to.

As someone who emulated my older siblings to a ridiculous degree, I followed in his footsteps and we got into some mischief together. After getting into some brief trouble as a teenager, I decided to hang up my black hat and focus on the ethical side of hacking.

Hacking is one of the most misunderstood areas of modern life. When I tell people I am an ethical hacker, they don’t really know what I mean. When I tell people I write about ethical hacking, any interest they had in the subject usually evaporates.

That’s okay, writing about hacking isn’t something I do to appeal to a large audience. My goal is to reach audiences that are interested in tech, coding, and other fields so they understand that hacking is something that can be looked into.

I find writing about something I have been passionate about since I was in my teens is extremely rewarding.

What I do

I write to teach and there is no better way to teach than to build out tutorials. I mentor a few young females in the hacking space and in a few short years have built a compendium of tutorials.

Analyzing industry trends and black swan events can easily be a full-time job. It even is for some people. I provide expert analysis when it is needed most.

Hacking is often seen in black and white. I’m here to tell you there is a lot of grey area that needs to be talked about from an unbiased lens.
